Home - Raw Milk
|
Raw
milk is available in Colorado from a number of farms. Since the
signing of the new Raw Milk Bill on April 22, 2005, raw milk is
legally available through dairy share programs. New farms are
popping up all over, check out our resource link above for the
details on each farm. To help with the driving responsibilities,
most farms have developed driving co-ops, which are scattered
all over Colorado. For example, each member of a 5 family co-op
only has to drive up to the farm every 5 weeks. The milk is
dropped off to a closer location for weekly pickups. If you want
to start consuming raw milk, the first step is to become a
member of one of these farms and then they can direct you to
co-ops that might work for you in your area. Please note, many
farms have waiting lists, but we encourage you to call and get
your name on their lists – it is well-worth the wait! Also,
several of the farms offer garden share programs and large meat
orders.
Visit our Resources section, or click here for farm contact information.

Home - About
|
We are a local, non-profit chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation.
Our mission is to EDUCATE the local community on the principles of the Weston A. Price Foundation, including
TRADITIONAL FOOD preparation, nutrient-dense foods, and sustainable agriculture. Our goal is to encourage one
another in achieving radiant health through the wise principles practiced by non-industrialized primitive cultures as
presented by the research of Dr. Weston A. Price. Our guide to learning about traditional foods and applying proper
food preparation techniques is Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and
the Diet Dictocrats by Sally Fallon.
We are a RESOURCE to the community for how to obtain nutrient-dense foods
such as free-range eggs, pasture-fed meat, milk products (preferably raw), and organic vegetables. We advocate access
to these nourishing foods and connect people with health-care practitioners who follow Weston A. Price principles.
We provide opportunities for FUN and FELLOWSHIP by organizing
solicitation-free social gatherings such as workshops, cooking classes, and potluck meals. Although we are each responsible
for creating our own health, Nourishing Connections’ members support one another in the adventure!
